NWN2: Fort Locke Graveyards, Elanee, and Highcliff Problems
Made quite a bit of progress today. First of all, we took care of that final group of bandits, and then freed the people that they had kidnapped. Next on the list was to investigate the graveyards east of Fort Locke, where Commander Tann had gone missing. After fighting our way past zombies and skeletons and through a crypt, we dealt with a necromancer, and found Commander Tann being held captive. The necromancer was the one raising the undead, so we killed him. Commander Tann requested that we help find his other men, and we did, although one of them was already dead. Back at Fort Locke, the temp commander thought he’s all boss and tried to get rid of Tann, but we killed him and his men. Hey, he attacked first!
As we continue along our journey to Neverwinter, the Kalacha-Cha gang shows up again, and finally the stalker reveals herself as well! Turns out she’s on our side. Naturally, she joins our party and proposes an alternative route that will help us hide from the bad guys, to which we agree. We were to go to Eridis, the “Maiden’s Glade”, one of the druids’ hideaways. However, upon reaching there the animals turn on us. A large bear that we encounter turns out to be Elanee’s friend, and with his dying breath he tells us how the Mere has been corrupted and so has he. He gives a final warning to Elanee to stay away from the Mere, and collapses. Of course, this just makes Elanee want to stop whatever this evil is.
